Senior Market Research Manager

Vista Grande is a fast-growing market-research firm that advises many of the world's leading consumer-products companies on sales and marketing strategies. We have established a thriving business in the U.S. and have expanded both our suite of services and our global footprint; three years ago, launching a subsidiary called Vista Grande Canada.

The Market Research Senior Research Manager Role

We are seeking a self-motivated Senior Market Research Manager who will drive client satisfaction by efficiently leading project delivery and providing an elevated client experience.

Responsibilities include:

• Project setup

• Questionnaire design

• Data analysis through application of our proprietary research techniques to address client issues/objectives

• Final report development including conclusions, opportunities and recommendations and client-presentation participation

• Manage and train a team of 3 Analysts/Associates

• Knowledge development regarding clients’ businesses, industries, customer, and market research/technological advancements

A qualified candidate would thrive in a fast-paced, team environment that involves multiple tasks, projects, and priorities. A strong interest in marketing research and the consumer-products industry is essential. We are looking for someone eager to learn new methods, tools, and concepts with the desire to grow in the role as our company continues to expand. The candidate must be comfortable engaging directly with senior management

The position is remote and can be located anywhere in the United States. The position reports to the Director of Analytics located in Kansas City, Missouri USA but will have close connectivity with co-workers located throughout the country and Canada.

The interview process for this position will require a 15-minute exercise to demonstrate Excel formula skills as well as data analysis.

Required Qualifications:

• 4+ years’ experience in custom marketing research as a supplier

• Bachelor’s degree (in market research, marketing, economics, psychology, statistics, or data science).

• Clear and persuasive written and oral communication skills.

• Excellent analytic and mathematical problem-solving skills.

• Proficient with Microsoft Office products (particularly PowerPoint & Excel).

• Curiosity about consumer and shopper behavior.

• Familiarity with the consumer goods industry and American retailers.

• Must have leadership, organizational skills, and exceptional attention to detail.

• Resourceful self-starter with an inquisitive mind and a passion for consumer research.

• Enthusiastic, engaged, and positive attitude.

• Must be able to handle multiple priorities in a fast-paced team environment.

• High interest and comfort utilizing internet technologies.

Salary: $75,000 - $95,000
